November 15, 1947 –  January 4, 2018  WHITESBORO- Graveside services for Billie “Elaine” (Click) Thompson, 70, will be held Monday January 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Collinsville Cemetery, Collinsville, TX, officiated by Keith Byrom. No formal visitation is scheduled. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.Elaine passed away on January 4, 2018 at her home in Whitesboro, TX with her family by her side.
Elaine was born in Sherman, TX on November 15. 1947 to T.J. and Dorthy Click. She married Jimmy Thompson on August 6, 1965 in Sherman, TX. Elaine worked for Wilson N. Jones hospital as a nurse for 35 years and she also worked for Dr. John Brennan and Dr. Robert Burlingame.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jimmy Thompson of Whitesboro, TX; daughters, Marsha Roberts of Whitesboro, Lisa Ray of Whitesboro; two grandsons, Wesley Campo of Whitesboro, Justin Thompson of Whitesboro; three granddaughters, Mandy Campo of Whitesboro, Megan Rice of Denison and Lauryn Ray of Austin; four great-grandchildren, Riley Sanders of Whitesboro, Kennedy Hall of Whitesboro, Ryder Thompson of Anna and Raelee Rice of Denison; mother, Dorthy Click of Collinsville; sister, Karen Schindler and husband, Larry of Pilot Point.
She was preceded in death by her father, T.J. Click and grandmother Erma “Maer” Groce; great-grandmother, Ethel Ragsdale and grandparents, J.W. and Myrtle Harkey Click.
