October 14, 1933 –  March 31, 2018  Funeral services for Betty Louise Atteberry, 84, formerly of Gainesville, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday April 5, 2018, at the Full Gospel Church of Denton, Texas, with Rev. Jack Howard and Rev. Jerri Gilyard officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Meador Funeral Home and 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, prior to services at the Full Gospel Church. Betty passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at her home in Denton. She was born in Gainesville, Texas, on October 14, 1933, to William G. Pope and Lockie Vella (Fuller) Pope. Betty was the best mom ever and was like a mother to many others. She attended Full Gospel Church of Denton and was a Christian. Betty was always a homemaker and a mother . She loved everyone and was dearly loved by all. Betty married James Atteberry. They had two daughters, Suzanne and Duwayna. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne and husband, Eddie Graves of Denton. Half-sister, Yvonne Rill of Denton. Sister-in-laws, Anelle Pope and Elizabeth Atteberry both of Gainesville. Along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; a daughter, Duwayna; two sisters, Bessie Stubblefield and Olene Bybbie and four borthers, Raymond, Charles, James and Ross Pope.
