Gainesville resident, Betty Richardson Davis, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at North Texas Medical Center at the age of seventy-six. She was born September 4, 1941, in Homer, Louisiana, the daughter of Thomas Patrick Richardson and Ella Arveda (Blackwelder) Richardson. She worked in the banking industry for many years and most recently worked at WinStar World Casino and Resort.

Betty was a lovely lady. She was a beloved mother, step-mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her son Richard Hostetler and wife Pam of Shreveport, Louisiana and their children Drew Hostetler and Dillon Hostetler; daughter Stella Snodgrass and husband Steve of Gainesville, Texas and their children April Brennan, Taylor Hostetler-Snodgrass and Lauren Hweidi; four great-grandchildren and step-children Milton Hostetler, James Hostetler, the Davis children and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bobby Richardson and Tommy Richardson, and sister Jeannie Richardson Sanders.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 1:00 P.M., at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville, Texas.
