April 1, 1935 – August 12, 2008 WHITESBORO รข?? Graveside Services for Betty Jo (Underwood) Klutts, 73, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Collinsville Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. John Reynolds and Rev. Ernest Sigrest officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008 at the funeral home.
Betty passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in Weatherford.
She was born on April 1, 1935 in Whitesboro to Logan and Dora (England) Underwood. Betty married Sam Lesley Klutts on Dec. 30, 1952 in Cooke County. She worked as a seamstress for Whitesboro Manufacturing and later Lovejoy Cutting Room for many years. Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of North Hills Baptist Church in Whitesboro.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Klutts and wife Julie of Weatherford and Kevin Gene Klutts and wife Irma of Weatherford, a brother, Albert Beryl Underwood and wife Joanne of Achille, OK, five grandchildren, Jeremy Klutts, Jamie Devereaux, Tammy Preston, Casey Shelton and Kelsey Klutts, four great-grandchildren, Analize Devereaux, Audrey Devereaux, Kaygen Klutts and Kimberlee Preston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Klutts, a daughter, Kimberlee Shelton, a brother, D.L. Underwood and two sisters, Opal Green and Louise Fox.
