June 6, 1936 –  June 20, 2013  BETTY CARROLL NEASBITTSADLER ? Celebration of Life and Home Going services for Betty Carroll Neasbitt, 77, will be held Monday, June 24, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at the Sadler Baptist Church, Sadler, Texas, with Rev. Jerry Henry, Rev. David Woolsey, and Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment will follow the services at Sadler Cemetery. Visitation services will be Sunday, June 23, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sadler Baptist Church.
She passed away at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ in Sherman, Texas on June 20, 2013.
Betty was born on June 6, 1936 in Sherman, Texas to David and Jewel (Rawlins) Bennett in Sherman, Texas. She graduated from Southmayd High School and attended Cooke County Junior College. She married Ele Neasbitt on June 8, 1956 at the Sadler Methodist Church by Pastor Graves. She worked for several years at Wilson N. Jones in the records department. She became a fulltime stay at home mom with the adoption of her sons in 1969. She was an active member of the Sadler Baptist Church, having joined in 1957. She was a member of the Women?s Missionary Union. She faithfully served the Lord for 55 years at Sadler Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ele Neasbitt of Sadler, TX; sons: Noel Neasbitt and Mark Neasbitt of Sadler, TX; brother, Buck Bennett and his wife, Thelma, of Sadler, TX; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Jewel Bennett; and her brother, Jerry Bennett.
The pallbearers will be Michael Taylor, Brandon Mitchell, James Henry, James Foster, Prince Wood, Joey Rains, Tommy Filip and James Blakley.
