May 26, 1926 –  November 21, 2008  GORDONVILLE â?? Bernice Faye â??Grannyâ? Starnes, 82, passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2008 at her home. The family will host a memorial service in her home at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 17862 F.M. 901, Gordonville, Texas 76245. Cremation arrangements are directed by Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
She was born May 26, 1926 in McKinney, Texas to William Moncier and Lola (Hughes) Moncier.

Survivors include a son, Rodney Chaffin and wife Susan of Gordonville, 6 grandchildren, Randy Tolleson, Bunnie Darlene Chaffin, Bruce Tolleson, Shelly Clark, Lindy Jolly and Patrick Shirey, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Jimmy Don Chaffin and Ronald Ray Chaffin, a grandson, Aaron Ray Chaffin, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
