February 24, 1935 – July 20, 2006 WHITESBORO รข?? Funeral services for Ben R. Frith, Jr., age 71, will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, July 24, 2006 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. David Whittington officiating. Interment will follow in Ethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the funeral home.
Mr. Frith passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at his home.
Ben was born on February 24, 1935 to Ben R., Sr and Mary Elvira (Bass) Frith in Denison, TX. He married Mary Jane Wagner on January 25, 1964 in Denison, TX. He served in the U.S. Army. Ben worked for Cooke County Pct. 1. He was a loving husband and devoted father. He loved to fish and hunt and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Frith of Whitesboro; three daughters, Peggy Yanez and husband Salvador of Ft. Bragg, CA, Patti Mages and husband Donald of Lake Kiowa, TX and Dina Drake of Whitesboro: one son, Kenneth Wagner of Huntsville; two sisters, Margaret Biles of Cambell, CA and Emily Wagner of Arnold, CA; 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Frith and Choice Frith and two sisters, Mary McKenzie and Unabell Newsom.
Pallbearers are: Josh Frith, Bradley Frith, Anthony Frith, Christopher Wagner, Joey Wagner and Ike Reynolds.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Bobby Mitchuson, Johnny Capps, Ricky Pence and all Employees of Cooke County Pct. 1
