Andrea Anne “Annie” Howser, 63, of Whitesboro, Texas entered into eternal life at her home in Whitesboro on Wednesday, February 12, 2020.

Annie was born on September 19, 1956 in El Reno, Oklahoma to Joseph Malcolm and Melba Faye Phelps.  She married the love of her life Gary Howser on December 7, 1984 in Gainesville, Texas.  Annie was such an outgoing person, she loved people and she had the ability to make people smile with her loving personality. She had the biggest heart and would help anyone out that needed her.  She gave the most amazing hugs and fun nicknames to those she loved.  She brought such fun into any situation she was involved in; her antics would make people laugh, she was the light and laughter in many people’s life.  She loved sports, loved watching her Cowboy’s play, loved Nascar racing and probably was one of the biggest fans of the Oklahoma Sooners football team.  She enjoyed going to the lake with her family and watching any and all sports her grandchildren were involved in.  Annie loved her family and was incredibly proud of them, she loved to spend her free time with her daughter and grandchildren, they were her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Shalana Howard and husband, Ron of Whitesboro; step-daughter, Julie Ingram; mother, Faye Moss, grandchildren, Tripp and Camron Howard, Jessica Betancourth, Oton Betancourth, Jace Wilson, Taryn and Noah Land, great-grandchildren, Mia, Hagen and Joaquin Betancourth, brothers, Malcolm Phelps and wife, Marion, Bob Phelps and wife, Sheila, and Jim Phelps, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Howser and father, Joseph Phelps.

A Memorial Gathering honoring Annie will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
