Funeral Services for Anna Belle Watson, age 89, of Whitesboro will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, October 21, 2004 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Dr. Roy Spore officiating. A Graveside Service will follow at 2 P.M. at Crestview Memorial Park, Wichita Falls, Texas. Visitation will be from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M., Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at the funeral home. Mrs. Watson died October 18, 2004 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

She was born August 12, 1915 to George A. and Minnie (Perry) Welch in Collinsville, Texas. She married Robert S. Watson on October 12, 1941 in Whitesboro, Texas. They lived over 40 years in the Wichita Falls area.

Anna was a member of the Wichita Falls Legal Auxillary, First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, Junior Travel Club, Criterion Club and Daughters of Republic of Texas. She was the Past President of the WMU at First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls and she taught citizenship classes for International Friends Ministry there also. Anna was also a talented artist.

Survivors include 3 daughters: Janice Feudo and husband Gary of Sadler; Margaret McKinney and husband Jerry of Norman, OK; Patricia Grubbs and husband David of Allen; 2 sisters: Mary Settle and Jean Bullock of Whitesboro; 3 brothers: Albert Welch of Collinsville; John Welch of Skokie, Ill. and Robert C. Welch of Duncanville; 6 grandchildren; Janet Anderton of Lewisville, Donald Bullard of Houston, Kenneth Bullard of Sadler, Dean McKinney of Noble, OK, Kenya Russell of Florissant, CO and Brady Burch of Wichita Falls. 13 great-grandchildren; Angela King, Ashley Bullard, Allison McKinney, Kelby Bullard, Kaylyn Russell, Austin Russell, SeVayne Burch, Jamison Bullard, Camden Russell, Taylor McKinney, Colton McKinney, Macy Bullard and Andrew Bullard.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Watson; 1 brother: Bill Welch; 1 sister: Nellie Harris.

Pallbearers are: Kenneth Bullard, Dean McKinney, Donald Bullard, Larry Russell, David Anderton and Brady Burch.
