COLLINSVILLE ? Graveside services for Alyne Ruth Gibson, 95, will be held Friday, February 7, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Collinsville Cemetery, Collinsville, Texas with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. There will be no visitation services. Service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas.

She passed away on February 5, 2014 in Collinsville, Texas.

Alyne was born on September 24, 1918 in Hill County, Texas to O. B. and Ethel (Lacy) Martin. She married R. V. Gibson on September 25, 1937 in Cooke County, Texas. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God.

She is survived by her son, Vernon Gibson and his wife, Elizabeth, of Whitesboro; granddaughter, Lisa Whitten and her husband, Mike, of Whitesboro; and grandson, Christopher Gibson and his wife, Tammy, of Sanger; one great grandson, two great granddaughters, and one great-great granddaughter; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R. V. Gibson; and her parents, O. B. and Ethel Martin; and her siblings: Velta Roland, Ethel Bell, Travis Martin, Woodrow Martin, and Craven Martin.
