September 1, 1931 –  April 26, 2015  Graveside Services for Pilot Point resident Alva Nell Reece, 83, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29th at Petrolia Cemetery. No visitation is planned. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.
Mrs. Reece passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Countryside Nursing and Rehab Facility in Pilot Point. She was born September 1, 1931 in Petrolia, Texas to Eugene and Nell (Stockton) Robinson. Alva Nell worked as a waitress and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons, Danny Reece of Denton and Kent Reece and wife Linda of Lake Dallas and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nita Cox.
