January 25, 1940 –  February 4, 2016  Funeral Services for Alicia May Buttress, 76, of Gordonville will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Sherwood Shores Baptist Church with Delbert Vest officiating. Interment will be at 4:00 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, Oklahoma. Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro is in charge of arrangements. She passed away at the Homestead of Sherman, Texas, Thursday, February 4th with her family by her side. She was born to Fred and Madell France (Smith) Cravens on January 25, 1940, in Pleasant Plains, Illinois. She married Oran Buttress in Las Vegas, Nevada who preceded her in death. She was a member of Sherwood Shores Baptist Church and was a retired grocery clerk. She loved to dance and enjoyed doing genealogy research. She is survived by her son, Tom Buttress of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; twin sister, Patricia Harman and husband, Lee of Gordonville; sister-in-law, Sylvia of Poteau and numerous nieces and nephews.
