January 31, 1941 –  November 13, 2009  GAINESVILLE â?? Funeral Services for Alice Marie Roberts, 68, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Hollis Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Collinsville. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at the funeral home.
Alice passed away on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

She was born on Jan. 31, 1941 in Overton, Oklahoma. Alice married Jasper Louis Roberts on Feb. 23, 1957 in Gainesville. She was a charter member of the Eastside Church of the Nazarene in Gainesville.

Survivors include 5 children, Tony Roberts of Gainesville, Mitchell â??Scottâ? Roberts and wife, Tammy of Benton, Arkansas, Carla Noble and husband, Ronnie of Saint Jo, Jill Trahan of Collinsville, and Amy Woods and husband, Virgil of Collinsville; 2 brothers, Randy Wooten of Sherman, and Bill Wooten of Callisburg; 7 sisters, Betty Roberts of Sherman, Joyce Hood of Tioga, Peggy Shaw of Gainesville, Shirley Arrington of Callisburg, Glenda Hurd of Gainesville, Patsy Wright of Whitesboro, and Vickie Tischler of Whitesboro; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Roberts; a son, Doug Roberts; her parents, Ralph and Ora Wooten; and a brother, Bobby Wooten.
