Whitesboro – Funeral services for Alice Belle McLaughlin, 81, of Whitesboro, Texas will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Whitesboro officiated by Rev. Mike Flanagan. Interment to follow at Collinsville Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.She was born on July 13, 1936 in Woodbine, Texas to Ralph and Belle (Thompson) Hite. She married Gene Mclaughlin on July 3, 1953 in Whitesboro, Texas and together they raised 3 children. Alice was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro and was very involved with the prayer ministry there. She was a woman who loved her Lord and who loved and cared for her family. She worked for Sears and Roebuck for over 21 years as a catalog manager.

Alice is survived by her husband of 65 years Gene Mclaughlin, son, David Mclaughlin and wife, Becky of Branson, MO, daughter, Vicki May and husband, Clint of Willow Park, TX, son, James Mclaughlin and wife, Rosario of Ft. Worth, TX, 12 grandchildren, Lainie, Aaron, Lindsey, Aubrey, Ashley, Adam, Adrian, Austin, Brandon, Tanner, Morgan, Mallory, 18 great-grandchildren, brother, Ralph Hite and sister, Jean Lester.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Belle Hite, brother, Clarence Hite, sister, Betty Lou King and sister, Patsy Ulmer.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
