November 11, 1963 –  June 15, 2015  Collinsville- Funeral services for Alan Hilton Hite, 51, will be held Friday, June 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Dan Eakin officiating. Family visitation will be on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Alan passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at John Peter Smith’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Alan was born on November 11, 1963 in Sherman, Texas to Paul Wesley and Mary Elizabeth (Scyrkels) Hite. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville. Alan always thrived when he could go to church. Alan loved to play the drums, painting and playing football.
Survivors include his mother, Liz Hite of Collinsville; 2 brothers, Wesley H. Hite and Galan R. Hite of Collinsville and four nieces; Christina D. Hite, Samantha Hite, Shannon King and Jennifer Hite.
Alan was preceded in death by his father, Paul Wesley Hite and a nephew, Christopher Hite.
Pallbearers will be: Kenneth Hite, James Glen Vannoy, Wesley Hite, Jeremy King, David “Bubba” Umsted and Dennis Matlock.
