Jerry Dale Wright, 74, passed away on March 8, 2019 at his residence in Gainesville, Texas.  Arrangements are under the care of Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville, Texas.  He was born on August 24, 1944 in Leo, Texas, which was close to the Era community, to Buford R. Wright and Birdie Mae (Stapp) Wright.  Jerry spent most of adult years working as a security guard.  Jerry is survived by son David Wright of Mississippi; grandson Justin Wright of Gainesville; and brother James B. Wright of Garland; along with several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Louise, Lois, Jo Ann and Reba; brother Jimmy.  A memorial service has not been planned at this time.
